The Roval CLX 32 Tubular Disc Rear Wheel is engineered for riders seeking a high-performance, ultra-light climbing wheelset without compromising on strength, aerodynamics, or ride quality. To achieve best-in-class weight and performance, over 150 rim profiles were tested using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and extensive wind tunnel validation. The result is a highly refined, aero-optimized shape. Combined with over 40 different carbon layup schedules, we created a wheelset that weighs only 665 grams—lighter and faster than anything in its class.

A wide 27.1mm external rim significantly improves tire stability and grip, providing enhanced traction and confidence during aggressive cornering and high-speed descents. This increased tire support helps maintain better contact with the road surface, reducing the risk of slippage and boosting overall handling performance. When combined with the precision-engineered Aero Flange (AF1) rear hub, advanced CeramicSpeed bearings, and reliable DT Swiss 240 internals, the wheel system offers exceptionally smooth and efficient power transfer.
